About the Product
Patak Madras Curry Paste is an authentic Indian-style curry paste made with a blend of 11 expertly selected aromatic spices, including coriander, paprika, and chilli. It creates a rich, spicy Madras-style curry with a bold flavor and vibrant aroma, making it easy to prepare restaurant-style dishes at home.
Ingredients
Water
Ground spices (including coriander, paprika, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, black pepper, ginger, and chilli)
Vegetable (rapeseed) oil
Salt
Maize flour
Tamarind
Garlic powder
Yellow mustard powder
Black mustard seeds
Acidity regulators (acetic acid, citric acid)
How to Use
Heat a little oil and sauté onion, ginger, and garlic (optional).
Add 2–3 tablespoons of Patak Madras Curry Paste and cook for 1–2 minutes to release the spices.
Add chicken, lamb, beef, seafood, paneer, tofu, or vegetables and brown lightly.
Stir in chopped tomatoes or tomato purée and simmer until cooked through.
Serve hot with steamed rice, naan, roti, or chapati.
Basic Cooking Method
Store in a cool, dry place before opening.
Refrigerate after opening.
Keep the lid tightly closed.
Use a clean, dry spoon.
Consume within 6 weeks of opening and before the best-before date.
